All Activities Suspended – Message from President of BMW Clubs Canada

Dear members and visitors,

Our president communicated the following message to all chapters in Canada:

The health and safety of all club members, their friends and families are of highest concern to BMW Clubs Canada. As such, our directors have voted overwhelmingly to suspend all in-person activities for the immediate future.

Beginning at 12:00AM ET March 23, 2020, and running through May 1, 2020 at 5:00PM ET, BMW Clubs Canada and all member clubs are prohibited from engaging in any in-person events or gatherings under the umbrella of BMW Clubs Canada.

We will of course be monitoring the situation closely, following the recommendations of the Government of Canada and local authorities, and provide more information as it becomes available.

Our annual general meeting will be held electronically on Saturday April 4th and at that time we will re-evaluate the situation, discuss and adjust the date as required.

Please everybody - stay safe and take care of your self and your family! We will talk soon.

Chris Pawlowicz
President, BMW Clubs Canada

As the BMW Club of Ottawa, we no doubt are following the situation very closely from
a local perspective since situations can change regionally, however, this crisis affects the
entire nation. Our only originally planned event for April was our monthly meeting, so
at this time, we are going ahead and cancelling that monthly meeting as that was our
original plan for our club locally.

To all members and their immediate families, stay safe and take care of your families.

BMW Club of Ottawa, Executive Team
